Meet The Team

Jennifer

I’m Jennifer, the meticulous, creative, and personable Lead Wedding Manager at Adaora Events. I thrive behind the scenes, managing every detail from wedmin to venue visits. One of my favourite wedding day moments is helping the bride get dressed, it’s a quiet moment filled with excitement and emotion. When couples come to me with questions or challenges, I’m the one who finds the answers and keeps everything running smoothly.

I want my couples to feel completely supported. They should relax, knowing they’re free to celebrate their day exactly how they want - no pressure to fit into the status quo. I’m here to listen, comfort, and create a space where they can feel safe sharing their emotions throughout the journey.

I’m also a bit of an information junkie! If there’s a question I don’t know the answer to, you better believe I’ll be diving into podcasts and audiobooks until I find it. My curiosity keeps me sharp and ready to solve any challenge that comes our way.

When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll likely find me enjoying music, especially throwbacks from the 90s and smooth jazz.

Chika

I’m Chika, the Lead Wedding Day Manager at Adaora Events. One of the most memorable challenges I’ve faced was at a riverside wedding where high tide caused flooding at the main entrance. I quickly coordinated alternate routes for guests, the bride, and key vendors to ensure everyone arrived safely and on time. Staying calm and adaptable in moments like that is what I’m all about — making sure the day flows smoothly no matter what.

What I love most about my role is that every couple brings their own unique style and story — no two weddings are ever the same. I get to be part of something truly personal each time, making sure that uniqueness shines through every detail and moment.

I’m always ready to pray for and with my couples throughout the entire journey. Being a steady, comforting presence helps calm nerves and lifts spirits, ensuring they feel supported emotionally as well as practically on their big day.

Outside of weddings, I love trying new things — especially food! I’m always on the lookout for a good life hack or fun fact to share. And yes, I’m the ultimate football babe who never misses a match.
